Affiliate Disclosure

Effective date: July 3, 2026

The short version: As of the date above, this site contains no affiliate links. When we add them, they will be labeled, they will never change calculator results, and this page will say exactly what changed.

Why this page exists

The Federal Trade Commission requires websites to clearly disclose when they are paid for recommendations or referrals (16 CFR Part 255). We agree with the rule, so this page goes further than the minimum: it tells you what our compensation relationships are right now, what they will look like when they exist, and the lines they will never cross.

Current status: no affiliate links yet

As of the effective date above, bestcalculator.tools has no affiliate partnerships and earns no compensation from anything you click, calculate, or read here. Every link on the site today is either internal or a plain educational reference. We are telling you this plainly because "we may earn compensation" boilerplate on a site with no actual partnerships helps no one.

What will change when partnerships launch

We plan to add affiliate links to third-party financial products relevant to the calculators — categories like personal loan marketplaces, budgeting and debt payoff apps, and credit monitoring services. When that happens: affiliate links and offer modules will be visibly labeled (for example, "Partner offer" or "We may earn a commission"), this page will be updated to name the categories of partners we actually work with, and the disclosure will appear near the link — not buried here alone.

Rules that compensation will never break

Calculator math is untouchable. Results come from the numbers you enter and the assumptions disclosed on each calculator page. No partner pays to change a formula, weight a result, or see your inputs — your inputs never leave your browser at all.

No pay-to-rank. If we ever compare or list products, payment will not buy a better position, and any listing influenced by compensation will say so where you see it.

Education before offers. The calculator and its explanation come first on every page. Offers, when they exist, are the optional next step — never a gate in front of the tool.

Partner products are not our products

Clicking a partner link takes you to a third party. Their rates, fees, eligibility rules, approval decisions, and privacy practices are theirs, not ours. We do not guarantee you will qualify for anything, save anything, or improve any credit score. An affiliate link is a referral for which we may be paid — it is not a recommendation that a product is right for your situation.

Before you click any offer, anywhere

Compare APR, fees, term length, and total cost — not just the monthly payment. That advice is the entire point of this site, and it applies double to anything anyone is paid to show you, including us.
